Tennis
I started playing tennis five years ago and I instantly found my passion.

Volunteering
When I was 13, I started a project where I donated books and toys to Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. I know what it is like being in the hospital at a young age, and from my experience, all it takes is a small act of kindness to brighten someone’s day.
Science
Science Club meets each week and we are assigned a new science-based task! One time, we made miniature hot air balloons, another time we made homemade marshmallows.
Business
During DECA competitions, we are given prompts and we have to solve them. We don’t have a lot of time to prepare, so we have to come up with company solutions on the fly and convince the judge (who plays the role of another company). This year, my partner and I are moving on to DECA State - I am so excited!
